Željko Mravik, born 1993, attained his BS, MS and PhD degree from Faculty of Physical Chemistry at University of Belgrade (Serbia) in 2016, 2017 and 2023, respectively. He is employed at Laboratory of Physics of “Vinča” Institute of Nuclear Sciences as Research Assistant and his main research interests are related to energy application of two-dimensional materials (mostly graphene and graphene oxide). His expertise covers the tasks of the project related to the synthesis of graphene oxide, graphene oxide – based nanocomposites, its physicochemical characterization and application in electrochemical supercapacitors. His PhD thesis was dominantly oriented toward application of ion beams for modification of graphene oxide and its composites for application in electrochemical supercapacitors.
