Milica Pejčić

Milica Pejčić is employed as a research associate in the Laboratory for Physics at the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences, an institute of national importance for the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade. She completed her undergraduate and master’s studies at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, where she is currently also pursuing her doctoral studies. She is currently involved in Program 5, ‘Science with Accelerators and Accelerator Technologies,’ on the topic ‘Physics and Chemistry with Ion Beams.’ Milica’s work focuses on the synthesis and characterization of carbon materials and their composites with heteropoly acids and various dianhydrides, with an emphasis on optimizing surface chemistry and hierarchical structuring for applications in chemical supercapacitors.
