Marko Jelić was born on December 15, 1996. In the 2015/2016 academic year, he enrolled in undergraduate academic studies at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade, completing them in July 2019 with a GPA of 9.65. He began his master’s studies in the 2019/2020 academic year at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade, specializing in Physical Chemistry of Materials, and graduated in September 2020 with a GPA of 9.75. In the 2020/2021 academic year, he enrolled in doctoral academic studies at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade. His doctoral dissertation focuses on the synthesis and characterization of functional oxides for use in photoelectrochemical water splitting. Since January 2021, he has been employed at the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences.
