Marija Grujičić

During the 2016/2017 academic year, Marija Grujičić enrolled in undergraduate academic studies at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade, graduating in September 2020 with a GPA of 9.22 and a grade of 10 on her diploma thesis titled ‘Mass Spectrometry of Volatile Organic Compounds.’ She began her master’s studies in the 2020/2021 academic year at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade, completing them in July 2021 with a perfect GPA of 10.00 and a grade of 10 on her master’s thesis, ‘Hydrothermal Synthesis and Characterization of Graphene Oxide and Cobalt Ferrite Composites Doped with Zinc and Gallium.’ After her third year of undergraduate studies, she attended a summer internship at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade, within CNIRS. During the 2021/2022 academic year, she enrolled in doctoral academic studies at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on the synthesis and characterization of cobalt ferrite, as well as optimizing the surface of this material for use in the electrochemical detection of polyphenols. She is currently employed as a research associate at the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences, an institute of national importance for the Republic of Serbia.
