Darija Petković was born on September 24, 1991. In the 2010/2011 academic year, she enrolled in the undergraduate academic studies program at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade, completing her degree in September 2020 with a grade point average of 8.49. She pursued her master’s academic studies at the same faculty, specializing in Electrochemistry and Chemical Kinetics, in the 2020/2021 academic year, graduating in September 2021 with a grade point average of 9.75. In the 2021/2022 academic year, she began her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Physical Chemistry, University of Belgrade. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on the synthesis and characterization of thin films of metals/metal oxides deposited on silicon substrates for use in photoelectrochemical water splitting, specifically for the hydrogen evolution reaction. Since April 2022, she has been employed at the Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences.
